Celebrating great minds: Charles Darwin

Today is the 200th birth anniversary of Charles Darwin, a great thinker, whose theory of how life on earth has evolved serves as the bedrock of our understanding of who we are and what surrounds us.

As bigots and fascists use creationism to pursue their agenda of terrorising society with feelings of guilt until we accept God and their religious orders, ultimately leading to control of society, the sane scientific counsel of Darwin and others after him gives us hope.

Don’t miss the work of some contemporary scientists in this area. The list includes Edward O. Wilson, the late Stephen Jay Gould, Niles Eldredge and Richard Dawkins, who are arguably the most famous.
